C.A.R.E. Talent Solutions exists to close the gap between employers who need reliable, skilled people and candidates who need a real way in — across construction, architecture, real estate, and engineering.
C.A.R.E. Talent Solutions grew out of a relationship, not a business plan. Dr. Rodgers first met Mr. Cardenas as his professor, coaching him through the NAHB student chapter competition — an experience that helped shape the course of his career in land development.
When Dr. Rodgers later became chair of NAHB's student chapter advisory board, she named Mr. Cardenas her co-chair, turning a mentorship into a true partnership. Today, the two of them serve together as consultants for NAHB's HBCU Leadership program.
C.A.R.E. Talent Solutions exists to give that same mentor-mentee relationship room to multiply — connecting employers across construction, architecture, real estate, and engineering with candidates who deserve the same kind of investment Dr. Rodgers and Mr. Cardenas gave each other.
Every candidate is a person with a career trajectory, not a resume to fill a slot.
We invest in candidates the way a good mentor does — with real coaching, not just a hand-off.
We understand the language and demands of the built environment, not just job titles.
We stay engaged after the placement to make sure it's actually working for both sides.
The dynamic duo behind C.A.R.E. — a mentor and mentee who built this company to pass their partnership forward.
Dr. Rodgers is a professor and consultant who has spent her career developing rising talent in construction and real estate. She coached Mr. Cardenas through the NAHB student chapter competition early in his career, and later became chair of NAHB's student chapter advisory board, naming him her co-chair. That partnership continues today through their work consulting for NAHB's HBCU Leadership program.
Mr. Cardenas's career in land development took shape under the mentorship of his professor, Dr. Rodgers, during the NAHB student chapter competition. That relationship led him to serve as her co-chair on NAHB's student chapter advisory board, and together they now consult for NAHB's HBCU Leadership program — the same spirit of mentorship he brings to every candidate at C.A.R.E.
